Allama Kaukab Nooraani Okarvi (son of Maulana Mohammed Shafee Okarvi Rahmatullah Alaih) reported that on the eve of the 18th of December 1995 (27th Rajab), the greatness of Almighty Allah and the glory of the Beloved Huzoor (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was manifest in a miracle which took place in Madina Shareef. Several illuminated and colourful circles, the beauty and attraction of which cannot be described, appeared around the "Gumbad-e-Khazra". Gradually, these circles converged to form a distinct "Muhammad" (in Arabic). This miracle was witnessed by thousands of people, which left them enthraled and emotional.

Larkana: Two villagers were arguing about the status of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) as also being Haazir and Naazir, i.e. the Messenger of Allah being omnipresent and omniscient, as well as the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) having total authority. The other rejected this. To prove who is correct, both jumped into a burning fire to demonstrate that the one who is unharmed is true in what he says.

Thus Mohammed Panah Totani and the other person, Haroon, both jumped into the fire. Mohammed Panah did so whilst engaging himself in the recitation of Durood Shareef and Salaat-o-Salaam and came out untouched, whilst the other was severely burnt and had to be admitted to hospital with multiple degree burns. Thousands of astonished people are witnesses to this event. N.B. Original Urdu article available. (Daily Jura'at, Issue No. 96, 13 February 1998)

A Wali by the name of Sayyid Shah Muhammad Waris Rasool Numa (alaihimur Rahma) in India had the name "Muhammad" naturally in green colour on the palm of his right hand and scent of 'Ittar used to come from his body. From a young age he used to see the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) in his dream and also helped others to see. He was thus known as "Rasool Numa".

In 555 A.H. (1160), a great Saint known as Sheikh Ahmed Rifaa'i Awliyah-e-Kabeera (radi Allahu anhu) went to the Roza-e-Anwar of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and said: "As Salaamu alaika ya Jaddi", and the reply was, "Wa alaikas Salaam Ya Waladi". Sheikh Ahmed Rifaa'i then made Du'a and the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) extended his blessed hand from the grave and made Musaafa with him. He then kissed the hand of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and the blessed hand went back into the Roza-e-Anwar. Almost 99 000 people saw and heard of this, amongst whom was Sheikh Abdul Qaadir Jilani (radi Allahu anhu).

How did A'la Hazrat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Bareilwi (radi Allahu anhu) become a Hafiz-ul-Quran? It has been stated that in the time period from Wudhu till the time of Jamaat, Hadrat Allamah Sadrush Shariat (radi Allahu anhu) would recite one Sipara. Sayyiduna A'la Hadrat (radi Allahu anhu) would listen to it and, thereafter, recite the same Sipara in the Taraweeh Salaah. He continued this routine for 30 days, and by the end of the month of Ramadaan, A'la Hadrat (radi allahu anhu) became a complete Hafiz of the Holy Quran!
